During his six weeks stay, Jens continued his work on an ongoing CCom research project on corporate reporting and diversity across different countries and regions. First insights of this project have already been presented at this year’s ICA conference. Jens has now extended the scope of the study to the Asian context. Moreover, first ideas for a joint follow-up project between Vienna and Shanghai on corporate sociopolitical communication were developed.
Besides research, Jens was invited for guest teaching and held a Masters seminar session entitled "Comparative research on CSR communication: Insights from a global study on corporate reporting about diversity, equity, and inclusion“.
The research stay was fully funded through a University of Vienna Mobility Fellowship and embedded in the ongoing strategic partnership between the Department of Communication in Vienna and the Fudan School of Journalism.
