Ingrid Wahl is a postdoctoral researcher in the Corporate Communication Research Group at the Department of Communication. Her research interests focus on how both formal communication and informal communication affect the motivation, work behavior, and job satisfaction of emlpoyees. Currently, she conducts research synthesis (i.e., scoping reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses) on communication about diversity within organizations. Furthermore, she examines the positive effects of employee appreciation on both employees and organizations. Prior to this, she conducted studies on remote work, gender stereotypes, online-learning, and study asessment tests among other things. Ingrid Wahl's original background is in economic psychology, where she conducted research on cooperation in social dilemma situations (i.e., tax honesty, fare dodging).
