His main research topics are internal communication, employee communication management, corporate compliance communication, corporate social responsibility, intercultural communication, as well as corporate culture. Currently his focus lies on the potential influences of internal communication and corporate culture on employees’ ethical behavior, i.e. which universal communicational and (social-)psychological factors are affecting employees’ and management’s sensitivity to ethical issues and behaviors in further consequence. To gain a scientifically founded view on this phenomenon, he pursues an interdisciplinary and mixed-methods approach.
